In late 2022 New Era Residence created a focus group of experienced and dedicated professionals who have over 30 years of expertise within the sector. The focus group was formed to develop our new robust Learning Disability CQC service to answer to the needs of young people and our current placing local authorities.
Our director sort to form these services due to the successful outcomes from our Sustain House, where we have accommodated a young person from early 2021 who has been diagnosed with global delay and autism, with commitment from the staff team this young person continue to demonstrate positive growth and enjoyment within the place she calls home.
This service has been designed to respond to the needs of young people who require a specialised approach and intensive individual attention within a nurturing and stable environment.

Summer View
Summer View is our first home within the service offering a solo provision for our young person who has been recently admitted, following an intensive planned transition to form therapeutic relationships with our staffing team for a sustainable placement.
Summer View is a safe and warm environment that echo’s our young person’s personalities this is the place that they call home.
We shall continue to work closely with placing authorities, healthcare commissioning teams and external Ofsted services to ensure we remain responsive to the needs of the young people and our local councils.

Children deprived of liberty we are working for there betterment to be doing several projects this year focussing on how we improve these children’s experiences and outcomes.
We provide innovation and flexibility within all of our holistic supportive packages, that are created with each young person in mind prior and during our admission processes.
