The Rowleys

The Rowleys will provide care and support for children / young people, and we are prepared to consider placements for children / young people exhibiting a wide range of behavioural difficulties. We do acknowledge that all children / Young people can be subject to occasional outbursts of anger that can develop into violent episodes and are equipped to work with this type of behaviour. We also have the knowledge and skills base to work with children / young people who are remanded into the care of the local authority, the home can work closely with bail and remand to offer the support required for the young people in preparation for all court hearings, DOLS reviews and possible movement into custody, back home or into another residential setting

The Rowleys

The Rowleys is a site of 4 newly built 7 bedroom detached homes which will cater for looked after children for looked after children with emotional and behavioural difficulties being that of their primary care need. (EBD), (Mild Learning difficulties), (DOLS)New Era Residence has a positive history in supporting young people under formal Dols orders with good outcomes for all young people. The home will be set up to meet all DOLS orders and restrictions that are in place. All staff within the home will receive robust training where the company having commissioned Respond https//www.respond.org.uk to support all young people and additional to this our clinical play therapist with support our young people to regulate their feelings through playful activities. Out staff teams understand trauma-informed services that include, psychotherapy and advocacy.

House Overview

The home is a semi-detached 7-bedrooms house within a multicultural area of the Dudley Borough. The Rowleys is a spacious building providing accommodation for up to 3  young people 3 floors .Staff office Educational and sensory rooms well as being able to support transitions into the homes semi-independence side of the property.We provide care to children / young people of both genders between the ages of 8 to 17 years old on admission. The staff reflect the culturally and ethnically diverse nature of the local community and provide care and support to children/ young people who may have experienced abuse, neglect, and exclusion in the past in a flexible and relaxed fashion. The staff at  The  Rowley recognise the need that many children /young people must regain control of their lives and their behaviour and provide the necessary structure and boundaries to enable them to do so.

Dream Cottage will provide care and support for children / young people, and we are prepared to consider placements for children / young people exhibiting a wide range of behavioural difficulties.

Blissful View is for children and young people who experience behavioural and emotional difficulties, criminal offences, and social difficulties and who may have suffered abuse, neglect, exploitation, and exclusion in the past. Blissful View will accept emergency admissions always considering the impact risk assessment on the young person being considered and those already placed in the home for compatibility.
